I am a print designer with 20 years of experience. My niche is in designing branding and packaging for health & beauty clients. I enjoy shooting product photography as an extension of my creative skill set. In my former years, I owned a design studio under the moniker of The Yellow Loft. I have also been a design instructor at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and California State University Long Beach. As a long-time advocate of design excellence, great design comes from a combination of many things: listening, asking questions, research, design principles, exploration, problem solving, constructive criticism, attention to detail, and production knowledge. I currently reside in Asheville, NC as a freelance designer with roots in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
